About Titans of the Sun: Theia
Titans of the Sun: Theia was released at exactly the same time as Titans of the Sun: Hyperion, it’s sister slot. To be fair, there is precious little difference between the two games. Graphically, the only difference between this slot and the other, is that this slot features Theia as its star, rather than Hyperion. Big deal, right? Well, it is actually, because Titans of the Sun. Theia also contains a marginally bigger non-progressive jackpot worth 120,000 coins (as opposed to the 75,000 coin jackpot in Hyperion), and you can bet more. Structurally, it offers the same 5-reels and 15 paylines as Hyperion, but Theia will let players choose coin denominations of 0.01 up to 0.20, and bet up to 10 of those per line. Minimum and maximum wagers therefore extend from 0.15 per spin, up to 30.00 per spin in total.
Special Features
Titans of the Sun: Theia’s special features are identical to those which appear in Titans of the Sun: Hyperion in every way but one, and we’ll come to that in a moment.
Firstly, there is a transformation symbol in the shape of the sun. It can randomly turn itself into any other icon, (either high, or low paying only) in the base game, but in the free spins bonus it can transform into wilds, too.
Speaking of wilds, they can replace all other icons in the slot, are the best paying symbols in the game, and take the shape of the Titans of the Sun: Theia logo.
Scatters appear as a dancing couple silhouette, and these icons can offer you scattered wins when 2 or more such symbol appear anywhere on the reels. Of course, if you land 3 or more, you’ll trigger the bonus round.
Bonus Feature
Understandably, the bonus round in Titans of the Sun: Hyperion is a free spins bonus. When this bonus round is triggered, you will start with a total of 15 free spins. This bonus round is the focal point of the only difference in special features between the two titles. Titans of the Sun: Theia’s free spins bonus offers you a 2x multiplier on all of your winnings. No multipliers are present in Titans of the Sun: Hyperion. This makes Theia the slightly more lucrative of the two games.
