Special Features
Players will want to keep their eyes peeled for the trophy symbols. These appear as wilds in this slot. They aren’t alone in being substitute symbols, though. Four other wilds (in the shape of dogs), also spring up on the reels. The Beadle’s Teabag, Braveheart, Daring Dex and Oh My Dog wilds can only appear on the fifth reel, though. If players land all four dog icons on the reel at once, they will trigger the Dog Race round.
The Dog Race round is the only feature to appear in the game, save for standard wilds. While it is notoriously difficult to trigger, it is easily one of the most prosperous bonuses ever to appear in a Play ‘n Go, so it is well worth triggering if you are lucky enough to do so.
Bonus Feature
To begin, players will get to choose which of the four greyhounds they wish to back. The dogs begin on the fifth reel (where they first appeared), and a race marker is located on the first reel. Players are then awarded an unlimited number of spins, at least initially. On each spin, golden hares can appear on the reels, and when they do so, any dog which is located on the same row as a hare will move towards it by one reel. Once a dog makes it to the first reel, it is declared the winner and the bonus ends. If your dog didn’t win, then you’ll snap up all the winnings you had throughout the bonus. However, if your dog did win, you are taken a Winner’s Wheel.
The Winner’s Wheel can see players spin a money wheel, which will dish out multipliers which range from 2x up to 15x. That figure is then added to whatever you won during the free spin bonus.
